Queensberry Street, North Melbourne

This café, a venture launched by a brother and sister duo, was a test run for their artisan bakery concept, with a menu that showed off their cherished family recipes. With the primary goal of testing the waters, the project had to work within the constraints of a modest budget and a tight timeline leading up to the grand opening. The fit-out needed to be not only functional but also visually appealing, reflecting the warmth and authenticity of the brother and sister’s vision. By reimagining and repurposing what was already there along with a splash of colour, we were able to create a space that, aligned with the venture's artisanal ethos. The end result was a cosy, welcoming café that provided the perfect setting for showcasing their family recipes as well as being a new local addition to the heart of Queensbury Street.
